Educated at Bryn Mawr College and Yale University, Margo Leach has been in practice since 1985. She has worked on a wide range of project types including residential, institutional, commercial and historic architecture. Margo Leach Architecture now specializes in new homes and the renovation and adaptive re-use of historic buildings.

Services Included in our Basic Fee
- Design of the house, garage and connected outdoor spaces including decks, patios, porches, pools and driveway.
- Design and specification of framing, siding, roofing, sheathing, waterproofing, insulation, windows, exterior doors & hardware, exterior trim, exterior lighting and all materials that go into a complete house.
- Design and specification of all interior finishes including floors, walls & ceilings; interior doors, hardware, trim, cabinetry, casework, window seats, fireplaces, plumbing fixtures and fittings, lighting, guidelines for HVAC and all materials that go into a complete house interior.
- Construction Documents – drawings and specifications for bidding, permits and construction.
- Recommend general contractors.
- Obtain bids and help select general contractor.
- Construction phase services.
- Review and approve general contractor invoices prior to client payment.

Our designs permit the optimum utilization of natural light, respond intelligently to sun orientation, views, topography, climate and context, and, connect harmoniously with the landscape.
We are dedicated to creating and facilitating a smooth and efficient construction process that results in an extraordinary finished product. To this end, we are a single point of contact for clients from our first conversation until move-in day. We coordinate everyone on the project including the general contractor, engineers for soils, site, structural and mechanical and consultants.
This assures that time and money are not wasted, client goals and design integrity are maintained through to the end, and clients are assured of getting everything they are paying for.
